Proton decay in Supersymmetric 331 Model

چکیده
The aim of this paper is to discuss what sort of baryon-number violating process arise on the supersymmetric versions of the model based on the gauge group SU(3)C ⊗SU(3)L⊗U(1)N . We discuss the mechanism of baryon number violation which induces proton decay, and derive bounds on the relevant couplings. [email protected]

Proton Decay in a Consistent Supersymmetric SU(5) GUT Model
It is widely believed that minimal supersymmetric SU(5) GUTs have been excluded by the SuperKamiokande bound for the proton decay rate. In the minimal model, however, the theoretical prediction assumes unification of Yukawa couplings, Yd = Ye, which is known to be badly violated. We analyze the implications of this fact for the proton decay rate. In a consistent SU(5) model with higher dimensio...
متن کاملProton decay suppression in a supersymmetric SO(10) model
We propose a mechanism for sufficient suppression of dimension-5 operators for proton decay in a supersymmetric SO(10) model. This mechanism is analogue to the double seesaw mechanism in studying neutrino masses. Only an intermediate VEV instead of an intermediate scale is required so that gauge coupling unification is maintained. The VEV is generated by introducing an anomalous U(1) symmetry w...

متن کاملProton Decay in the Semi-Simple Unification
Semi-simple unification is one of a model which naturally solves two difficulties in the supersymmetric grand unification theory: doublet-triplet splitting problem and suppression of dimension 5 proton decay. We analyzed the dimension 6 proton decay of this model using perturbative analysis at the next-to-leading order. The life time of proton is 3×1034 1035 years for wide range of SUSY breakin...
متن کاملProton Decay in Supersymmetric Finite Grand Unificatione
We study proton decay in finite supersymmetric SU(5) grand unified theories. We find that the finite supersymmetric SU(5) models are ruled out from this consideration.
